Terms and conditions
1. Who provides the game
- The Dogmination game (“the game”) and the dogmination.com website are provided by Dareia, ul. Nastrojowa 58/5, 91-496 Łódź, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7251926767 (“we”).
- Contact: dogmination@dareia.eu.
- These terms cover the use of the game on mobile devices, including multiplayer and the “No ads” purchase. Downloading the game from a store is also subject to that store's terms (e.g. Google Play).
2. The game and requirements
- The game is free. It runs on Android phones and tablets with the version shown in Google Play; an iPhone version is in the works.
- Playing against bots and over the same Wi-Fi needs no internet. Online play needs an internet connection and uses Epic Online Services.
- No account is needed.
- We keep developing the game: updates may change maps, breeds, rules and balance. We may change or withdraw free features; this does not affect the paid “No ads” described in section 5.
3. Licence
- The game, its graphics, models, music, sounds and name are protected by copyright and belong to us (except libraries and fonts used under their own licences – listed in the game: Options → Licenses).
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, free licence to use the game for your own private purposes on devices you own or control.
- You may not sell or distribute the game outside official stores, modify it or interfere with how it works or its network traffic (e.g. cheat in multiplayer), unless the law expressly allows it.
- You may record and publish videos and streams of the game (e.g. YouTube, Twitch), including monetised ones.
4. Multiplayer
- When choosing a nickname and playing with others, play fair. Nicknames must not be offensive, vulgar, impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights.
- We don't moderate matches live. You can report abuse to dogmination@dareia.eu.
- Online play runs on Epic Online Services. We are not responsible for its outages, which may temporarily prevent online play.
5. Ads and the “No ads” purchase
- The game shows Google AdMob ads (see the privacy policy).
- “No ads” is a one-time purchase in Google Play that permanently turns off ads in the game for the Google account used to buy it. You see the price in Google Play before buying. Payment, invoices and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms.
- “No ads” is digital content delivered right after purchase. If, before buying, you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal, you no longer have that right (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This does not limit your rights if the purchase doesn't work – see section 6.
6. Complaints
- If the game or the “No ads” purchase doesn't work as it should, write to dogmination@dareia.eu describing the problem, your phone model and the game version.
- We will reply within 14 days. As a consumer you have statutory rights when digital content does not conform to the contract.
- You may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, e.g. a consumer ombudsman or consumer protection authority in your country.
7. Liability
- We do our best to make the game work well, but we don't guarantee it will always be available and error-free, especially the parts that depend on third-party services (Google, Epic Games).
- We do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law, in particular towards consumers.
8. Personal data
How we process data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for important reasons (e.g. changes in the law, new game features). We will announce changes on this page and in the game's update notes at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes do not affect rights acquired earlier, including a purchased “No ads”.
10. Final provisions
- These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer from another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
- Disputes are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under general rules.
